The Team

Kris Gilheaney has been in the engineering recruitment industry since 2001. He kicked his career off with Adecco and moved on to Grafton Recruitment soon after. 

With a solid base in the Irish construction market, Kris then focused on the MEP market. As MEP was the forerunner/ early adopter for the BIM market,  Kris spotted a clear increase in demand for experienced BIM professionals and he decided this was a great niche to focus on, it was at that time BIM Recruiter was born.

BIM Recruiter Ltd is retained by some of the largest constructors and engineering firms globally. 

BIM still makes up 70%+ of our business, but we regularly recruit across other areas in the Architecture, Construction and Engineering sector. 

Our searches take us across Europe, Scandinavia, Asia and into the US.

Outside of work, Kris enjoys spending time with his wife and children, dining out and travelling in his camper van. 

Ryan is heavily involved in the 360-degree technical recruitment cycle here at BIM Recruiter. 

Ryan has had significant success in placing all levels of candidates ranging from junior to director level candidates in the BIM, MEP Engineering, PM, Construction Manager and Security Engineering markets, in Ireland, UK and Europe. 

He consistently connects great people to brilliant opportunities. 

Collaborating daily with clients and candidates alike, with a fair share of Business Development and Digital marketing thrown in for good mix.

Away from the office, Ryan is a fanatical Arsenal fan and enjoys travelling and spending time with his family.
